USE TERRAWASH IN A MACHINE?
- Place the bag with your laundry directly into your machine, no detergent or laundry detergent is necessary.
TerraWash to put in the machine
TerraWash does not contain any bleach or laundry brightening chemicals unlike regular detergent; In case of stubborn stains, it is recommended to apply a stain remover before washing, especially for white fabrics. To remain completely eco-friendly, you can rub the stains on your laundry with black soap or Marseille soap before putting it in the machine. If your laundry is particularly dirty, you can use TerraWash with detergent simultaneously; In this case, use half as much detergent as your usual dose.
It is effective up to 7-8 kg of laundry. For a larger load, you must use 2 sachets at the same time.
- Select a program and start your machine.
TerraWash requires a soak cycle of at least 20-25 minutes to allow the hydrogenated alkaline water to be effective and thoroughly clean laundry. The so-called “express” programs (short duration) are only used to refresh the laundry and will not allow TerraWash to be effective, nor any other detergent…
If your machine allows it, you can reduce or skip the rinse cycle; Since TerraWash does not produce suds, laundry does not need to be rinsed. If you use detergent at the same time, then the rinse cycle is necessary.
- Remove the TerraWash packet from your machine
If your machine is a washer-dryer, remove the bag before the drying cycle.
Leaving your TerraWash in your machine during the drying cycle would not harm its effectiveness, but could unnecessarily damage the nylon bag containing the magnesium granules and therefore damage your laundry.
- Let TerraWash air dry
Once removed from the machine, hang the sachet by its label outside or in a well-ventilated area to allow the water residue to evaporate. Do not dry the bag using a heat source, you risk damaging the nylon bag.
When not in use, leaving TerraWash in a damp place such as in a washing machine for long hours can facilitate unnecessary oxidation, resulting in a reduction in its life cycle and performance.
For consecutive washes, you can of course reuse TerraWash without drying.
HOW TO USE TERRAWASH BY HAND?
- Soak your TerraWash sachet in water with the laundry for at least 20-25 minutes.
- Swirl your sachet in the water for a few minutes.
Swirl the sachet manually in the water for a few minutes to release the hydrogen bubbles and allow TerraWash to be more effective.
